Ad Graphics, Inc. is a sign company in Elmwood. If you like being creative and working with your hands, then this may be the perfect job for you! We produce vinyl decals, window graphics, vehicle graphics including wraps, and interior and exterior building signage. We are a full-service sign shop including an art department with experienced graphic designers.
You will work in a 6,000 sq. ft. shop in Harahan. We have multiple departments/positions, including: Production, Finishing, Installation, Art, and Sales. Duties frequently overlap and we do cross-train our employees so they can be more productive and gain experience in multiple disciplines. General duties for production (shop assistants) include weeding and pre-masking decals, lamination (including fine art prints and photographs), hemming and adding grommets to banners, painting and sealing signs and occasional assembly, prepping orders for pick-up or delivery/installation, answering phones as needed and calling customers when orders are ready. Additionally, production members will eventually be trained to run our Kongsberg router and Vision engraver. We produce all manner of media using these versatile machines, including custom art, door hangers, and ornaments for local artists and custom ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant signage for businesses, hospitals, and schools.
Our shop hours are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available if interested in working weekends. We offer competitive salaries based on your skills and experience. We are urgently hiring a shop assistant for our sign company in Elmwood! If you like being creative and working with your hands, then this may be the perfect job for you! We produce vinyl decals, window graphics, interior and exterior building signage, as well as fleet and custom vehicle graphics including full wraps.
Your duties will include: (but are not limited to) Laminating and weeding decals, mounting graphics and artwork, preparing items for shipping to customers, as well as general shop maintenance. Training will be provided; however, any experience with digital printing, routing, plotting, weeding and laminating vinyl is a big plus.
Our shop hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime is available if interested. Starting pay is $14 per hour and up based on skill level and experience. Urgently hiring an experienced digital print operator for flatbed and roll to roll printing and routing. Experience in sign shop production (i.e. weeding, laminating, pre-masking graphics) is a plus. Extra pay for screenprinting knowledge for fluorescent decals. Our shop hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime. Competitive pay is negotiable for qualified applicants, plus 100% company paid health and life insurance after 60 days.
